Comments
The artists in the first detail could be Alvan Fisher, himself, and his friend Thomas Doughty.  Fisher and Doughty had studios a few blocks away in Boston in 1826.  They sketched together in the White Mountains and often stayed at Thompson's "Kiarsage" Inn in North Conwy (see Alvan Fisher, 1792-1863).
