E. W. Hall (?-?)

E. W. Hall was a landscape painter who painted in the mid 19th century.  He listed his address in National Academy of Design records as Brooklyn, NY.  Who Was Who (see below) lists his address as Newark, NJ. 

He exhibited at the National Academy from 1861 through 1864.  He also exhibited at the Brooklyn Art Association during the period 1861 through 1878.

He painted a view of Mount Washington dated 1860.  In 1864 he exhibited Sunset on the Saco at the National Academy, which was listed as "for sale."
